Terms & Conditions
Course bookings should be made/confirmed in writing or by email. In order to ensure certificates will be available on the day of the course, clients should provide MST with a delegate list one week before the course. If this is not possible, certificates will be mailed to the course organiser after the event.
Clients are responsible for providing a suitable room for training, including tables. Ideally the tables should be arranged in a ‘U’ shape. If necessary, MST can find a training room at an additional cost.
Unless otherwise agreed the following equipment will be required: flipchart and pens, data projector and screen. A TV with video/DVD may be required for certain courses. Delegates should bring a pen, note-taking paper and a medical dictionary.
Unless otherwise agreed, all courses start at 9:30am and will finish by 4:00pm.
Coffee and lunch should be provided by the client. Coffee should be available from 9am and at 11am. Lunch is taken around 12:45pm and a working tea break at 3pm.
Number of Delegates
The maximum number of delegates on a course is 15. In exceptional circumstances additional delegates can attend at an extra cost of £75 per person per day + VAT. Where less than 6 delegates are booked on, or turn up for a course, MST may cancel the course and charge the appropriate cancellation fee (see below).
The course fee will be agreed in advance. Travelling expenses @ 45p/mile plus VAT, plus accommodation where necessary will also be charged, all subject to VAT. The invoice will be sent after the course and is due for immediate settlement. Payment in electronic form is preferred – where it is necessary to send a cheque it should be made payable to Medical Services Training.
If a client wants to cancel a course or change a course date they should contact MST as soon as possible. Course dates may be changed to within one month of the original date without incurring a cancellation charge. Any subsequent cancellation, or date change, will incur cancellation charges based on the original date. Courses that are moved more than one month will be deemed to have been cancelled and a new booking made. In such instances the cancellation policy below shall apply. In addition any direct expenses that have been incurred by MST in relation to the cancelled course will be recharged.
Where cancellation fees apply they will be charged as follows, depending on the notice given:
4 – 6 week’s notice – 50%
2 – 4 week’s notice – 75%
Less than 2 week’s notice – 100%
